Assured Comfort Platform Series Hi-Low Hospital Bed is designed to function as a hospital bed alternative for those dealing with chronic conditions or in need of therapy. Hi-Low beds offer easier transfers from in and out of bed. Bed adjustability makes it easier to read, work on computers or watch television, with a simple push of a button on your included remote you can elevate your bed up to 70 degrees! All Assured Comfort Beds are great for both users and caregivers, the bed’s easy to use adjustability functions allow patients to easily be transferred in and out of the bed. With Hi-Low operation, the PLATFORM Series offers a transfer height range from 17” to 27” when using a standard 8” mattress. This Series also offers the least distance between the floor and mattress surface.
PLATFORM SERIES FEATURES
- Includes quiet, electric, and independent Hi-Low operation for each side.
- Hi-Low function generated by a scissor lift moving the foundation up and down.
- Includes independent head and knee elevation control for each side.
- Foundation offers lowest profile at just 17” from the floor with an 8” mattress.
- Beds can be ordered with or without headboards and foot boards.
- Leather upholstered, padded assist side rails are available at head and/or foot of bed.
- Cordless and corded remotes are included.
- Choice of mattresses to your specification. Or use your mattress if it works with our adjustable frame.

CONSIDERATIONS
What is the preferred transfer height?
With Hi-Low operation, the PLATFORM Series has a transfer height range from 17” to 27” with an 8” mattress.
Does your bed need to accommodate a lift?
The PLATFORM Series will not accommodate a lift. We suggest the MOBILE SERIES.
What is the floor surface?
If the bed will be on a hard floor surface and needs casters to be moved, we recommend the MOBILE SERIES.
Do you need side assist rails?
For help getting in and out of bed, consider side assist rails. Height of the assist rail varies with the thickness of the mattress.
